A panic attack is a sudden, intense surge of fear or physical discomfort — racing heart, shortness of breath, chest tightness, dizziness, or an overwhelming sense that something catastrophic is about to happen. Panic attacks are among the most distressing experiences a person can have, yet they are highly responsive to the right therapeutic treatment.

London Trusted Therapy is a holistic practice. We do not begin with a protocol and fit you to it — we begin with you. For panic, this means leading with the body: Somatic Experiencing works directly with the physiological patterns that drive the panic cycle, helping the nervous system learn — at a felt, bodily level — that it is safe. Mindfulness-based approaches build the capacity to observe the rising tide of panic without being overwhelmed by it. Breathwork and nervous system regulation provide practical, in-the-moment tools. Where understanding the thought patterns that maintain panic is useful, CBT is integrated as a complementary element. Where panic has roots in earlier trauma, EMDR offers a powerful pathway to resolution. Our focus is on lasting change, not temporary relief.
Should you feel that your first session did not meet your expectations or that your therapist wasn’t a good fit, we will provide another session completely free of charge with a different practitioner.
