Men in the UK are significantly less likely to seek help for mental health difficulties than women — yet men account for three quarters of all suicides in the UK. We offer a confidential, non-judgemental space where men can speak openly about whatever they are carrying.

Many men arrive at therapy having spent years managing alone. At London Trusted Therapy, we offer something straightforwardly different: a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can speak honestly — about work, relationships, identity, or anything else you have been carrying — without any expectation about how you should feel or what you should say.
Every practitioner at London Trusted Therapy holds substantial postgraduate training and professional accreditation, with a minimum of five years of clinical experience and an average of fifteen to twenty years across the team. Our practitioners include chartered and counselling psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors accredited with the BACP, UKCP, COSRT and HCPC- all working under the clinical direction of Dr Olena Edwards-Skadowska, BACP Accredited Psychotherapist, MBPsS, FMBPsS, and actively practising clinician.
Dr Edwards-Skadowska is the recipient of the Outstanding Leadership Award for Services to Mental Health, presented at the Health 2.0 Global Conference 2024 — a recognition that reflects the values of excellence, integrity, and genuine clinical commitment that run through everything London Trusted Therapy does.

Men’s mental health rarely presents as a single, contained problem. Where anxiety connects to trauma, where burnout tips into depression, or where relationship difficulties have a psychosexual dimension, our multidisciplinary structure means the right expertise is available within the team — including EMDR, psychiatry, psychosexual therapy, and therapeutic coaching — without referral out or disruption to your care.
For men’s mental health, this means offering an approach that does not require you to engage with therapy in any particular way. Some men find that body-based and mindfulness approaches — working with what is felt rather than what can easily be articulated — open doors that purely verbal therapy does not. Somatic approaches support emotional awareness and regulation without demanding a particular emotional vocabulary. Psychodynamic and existential exploration addresses identity, meaning, and relational patterns at depth. EMDR is available where earlier experience is part of the picture. CBT, ACT, and DBT are drawn on as useful tools where structured approaches are helpful. The work is always shaped by you.
Should you feel that your first session did not meet your expectations or that your therapist wasn’t a good fit, we will provide another session completely free of charge with a different practitioner.
