Every practitioner at London Trusted Therapy holds substantial postgraduate training and professional accreditation, with a minimum of five years of clinical experience and an average of fifteen to twenty years across the team. Our practitioners include chartered and counselling psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors accredited with the BACP, UKCP, COSRT and HCPC- all working under the clinical direction of Dr Olena Edwards-Skadowska, BACP Accredited Psychotherapist, MBPsS, FMBPsS, and actively practising clinician.
Dr Edwards-Skadowska is the recipient of the Outstanding Leadership Award for Services to Mental Health, presented at the Health 2.0 Global Conference 2024 — a recognition that reflects the values of excellence, integrity, and genuine clinical commitment that run through everything London Trusted Therapy does.
At London Trusted Therapy, you will be seen by a practitioner who is an expert in health anxiety — someone who brings deep, focused expertise to your presentation, rather than whoever is next available.
4.86 rating based on Doctify, Google and Trustpilot reviews
London Trusted Therapy is a holistic practice. We do not begin with a protocol and fit you to it — we begin with you. For health anxiety, this means drawing on Somatic Experiencing to work directly with the nervous system’s hypervigilance towards bodily sensation; mindfulness-based approaches to help you develop a more settled, observational relationship with physical experience; and psychodynamic exploration to understand what the anxiety may be expressing about your deeper fears, history, and sense of safety in the world. Where cognitive restructuring and behavioural techniques are useful, CBT and ACT are integrated as part of this wider picture. We will never dismiss or minimise your concerns.
Should you feel that your first session did not meet your expectations or that your therapist wasn’t a good fit, we will provide another session completely free of charge with a different practitioner.
