Dr. Saz Guscott is a highly experienced HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist with over five years of diverse clinical practice across NHS and private settings. Holding a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology alongside a Postgraduate Certificate in CBT Skills (Distinction) and an MSc in Psychology, Saz brings both academic rigour and genuine warmth to every therapeutic relationship.
Saz works with adults navigating a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relational challenges, grief, burnout, self-esteem, and neurodivergence. She is especially passionate about neurodiversity-affirming practice, offering specialist support for individuals with ADHD and autism — with a particular focus on collaborative formulation, post-diagnostic understanding, and empowering clients to make sense of their own unique experiences.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative and deeply person-centred, drawing on a rich blend of modalities — including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), psychodynamic, systemic, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) frameworks. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, Saz carefully tailors the therapy to the individual, honouring each client’s history, strengths, and goals.
Before joining London Trusted Therapy, Saz built a broad and impressive clinical background spanning NHS dementia diagnostic services, end-of-life care at Dorothy House Hospice, intensive outreach mental health support with AWP NHS, and corporate and private practice settings. She has considerable experience in risk assessment, crisis intervention, and holding complexity with steadiness and compassion.
Saz currently offers both in-person and online sessions and is available to work flexibly across short-term focused interventions and longer-term relational therapy. She is continuing her professional development through advanced training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy, EMDR, IFS, and the ADOS-2 autism diagnostic assessment tool.
Whether you are coming to therapy for the first time or returning after previous experience, Saz offers a grounded, non-judgmental space where you can think freely, feel genuinely heard, and begin to move towards a life with greater ease.
