Dr. Haneyeh Belyani is an HCPC registered, BPS accredited senior Counselling Psychologist with over 15 years of clinical experience working across the lifespan. She brings a depth of expertise in psychological trauma alongside a genuine warmth and curiosity about each person’s story. Haneyeh believes that healing is not simply the reduction of symptoms — it is a return to wholeness.
Her work is deeply relational and trauma-informed, drawing on a rich integrative framework that includes EMDR, IFS, somatic and polyvagal-informed approaches, psychodynamic thinking, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. She does not apply models mechanically — she meets each person with clinical rigour and human attunement, adapting her approach to what that individual needs at each point in their journey.
Alongside her clinical practice, Haneyeh has contributed to the profession as a senior lecturer, doctoral research supervisor, and external examiner at the University of East London. She has led specialist services for looked-after and adopted children, set up child and adolescent trauma services, and held senior leadership and management roles. She is also completing a Professional Doctorate in Psychological Trauma at the University of Chester.
At London Trusted Therapy, Haneyeh works with adults and children, offering both short-term focused work and longer-term depth psychotherapy.
