London Academy of Modern Psychology (LAMP)

Founded at Harley Street. Bringing Expert Psychological Education to Everyone

At London Trusted Therapy, we believe that access to high-quality psychological knowledge should not be confined to the therapy room or the academic lecture theatre. The London Academy of Modern Psychology — LAMP — was created to change that.
LAMP is an educational initiative rooted in the clinical excellence of London Trusted Therapy, based at Pinero House, 115A Harley Street, London. Through accessible online learning, LAMP makes the depth of insight that shapes professional psychological practice available to the public, to parents, and to practitioners seeking meaningful continuing professional development.

What Is the London Academy of Modern Psychology?

The London Academy of Modern Psychology is an education-focused strand of London Trusted Therapy, conceived and led by Dr Olena Edwards-Skadowska PhD MA PGDip, Founder and Clinical Director of LTT and a Full Member of the British Psychological Society. LAMP distils the clinical frameworks, therapeutic models, and evidence-based insights that inform Harley Street psychological practice, and translates them into structured, accessible courses for a wide range of learners.
LAMP courses are available through Reed Courses, the UK’s leading online learning marketplace, making them easily discoverable for anyone seeking professional development or personal growth across the United Kingdom and beyond.
Whether you are a curious member of the public who wants to understand psychology more deeply, a parent navigating a significant life transition, or a practitioner seeking accredited CPD-quality learning, LAMP has been designed with your needs in mind.

Our Mission: We bring Harley Street Expertise to Your Home

The psychological expertise practised in Harley Street consulting rooms has, historically, been the preserve of those who can access or afford specialist clinical services. LAMP exists to dismantle that barrier. We are committed to the belief that psychological literacy — an understanding of the mind, relationships, and human development — is a resource that every person deserves.
Through LAMP, we are building a growing library of courses that draw on contemporary research, integrative clinical models, and the lived experience of our team of psychologists, psychotherapists, and specialist practitioners. Our educational content is intellectually rigorous, practically grounded, and written with warmth and clarity.

Who LAMP Is For

LAMP courses are designed to be genuinely inclusive. Our learners include:

Members of the Public Interested in Psychology

You do not need any prior knowledge of psychology to benefit from LAMP courses. Our content has been written to be engaging, evidence-informed, and immediately relevant to everyday life. Whether you are exploring your own wellbeing, seeking to understand a loved one, or simply curious about how the mind works, you will find something of value here.

Parents and Families

Parenting is one of the most psychologically demanding roles a person can undertake, and yet it is one of the areas where formal support and education are least accessible. LAMP courses for parents offer evidence-based insight into child development, attachment, emotion regulation, and the psychological challenges of major family transitions — equipping parents with a richer understanding of themselves and their children.

Mental Health Professionals Seeking CPD

LAMP courses are developed at the standard of clinical training by practitioners with extensive experience in psychological therapy, assessment, and supervision. For counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists, and allied health professionals, LAMP offers structured learning that can support reflective practice, widen therapeutic frameworks, and meet CPD learning objectives.
